Weird thing is, since I slew their faction leader king / sultan thing pretty quickly, his faction banner turned light bluegrey compared to everyone elses which are still orange in the clan. You'll need to find someone representing the enemy faction, that is interested in making peace with you. Generally, this means an enemy party that is not confident they can beat you in a fight. All you get is a pop up saying something along the lines of "The empire has been defeated!", and the game goes on, no more main quests from there on out. Pretty anticlimactic honestly. The only real benefit to this is that it's the only way to completely eradicate some factions without resorting to execution. What is the the hardest faction to beat.
