Hello Folks. Coming home last night in my 08 X250 Fiat Ducato Motorhome when I went to put my cruise control on as I was on a long straight road. It didn,t come on and has not worked since. The engine management light has now came on as a result of this. It worked fine the day before.

Mines the same ( 2016 ) just don’t engage cruise control for the MOT. When driving I switch cruise control off occasionally just to see if any lights stay on. If you are having trouble reading the speed fit a Head Up Display. The GPS ones work really well and give you true speed.
Hello all First post I know but been lurking for a while. I suspect my cruise stalk is not functioning correctly, just had codes read and P0579 cruise
Right hand buttons on & off,third button not used. left hand buttons + to engage & increase speed. - to decrease speed. R to resume previous speed after disengaging with tap on brake pedal or depressing cluth pedal. When you get to the speed you want to cruise at press +button, control then takes over.
. Code U0140 pertains to the BCM or the wiring to the BCM from the engine control module (ECM). The code, depending on the year, make and model of the vehicle, may mean that the BCM is bad, that the BCM is not receiving or sending a signal, the BCM harness has an open or short, or that the BCM is not communicating with the ECM via the controller
But this is not a ‘fault’ as such and the revision cannot be applied to preceding Ducato X250 vehicles. I THINK the Rapido 776FF model was only built on a Ducato X250 base, so if the ’fault’ you mention relates to poor instrument-cluster visibility and your motorhome is based on a Ducato X250, Fiat cannot do anything about this.
FIAT DUCATO what part for speedpulse signal cruise control Hi Folks Ive been busy trying to build an Waeco MS-50 cruise control into my ducato 1.9D (from 2000) and wondered if theres a (standard) part (pulse-switch) i could buy and use for the speed signal Ive learned from a citroen forum its some part to integrate in the cable of my speedo meter but no further details were given.
The cruise control light on the instrument panel was lit up the whole drive, but would not "SET." I became very anxious that I had burnt up the car's computer with the jump start, but was also hoping that it was just a fuse or fault code. I took it to the dealer the next day, and they said that many fault codes were on and the computered logged
Terminal 4 of the switch is connected to 12V obtained via 7.5A fuse F26. Wire colour should be Blue/Green (LV in Fiat code). You need to link this wire to terminal 3 of the switch Blue wire (L in Fiat code), and extend to the yellow wire of the Alfa 147 switch stalk.
